Serving at the Altar of Our Lord is a priviledge, but is also a very important task which can be undertaken by all children who have received their first Holy Communion and are willing to take the responsibilities of Serving seriously and to attend the regular monthly practices which take place between 2.00pm and 4.00pm on the first Saturday of every month – click here for dates
Training is led by our experienced team; Bob Ryan, Tai Ade-koya, Lisa Remedios, Mark Remedios, Suanne Joachim, Joseph and Maria.
When they have been sufficiently trained to serve with Reverence and Understanding, servers can become members of the Archconfraternity of St. Stephen, and make their Guild Promise on St. Stephens Day (26th December).
All Altar Servers should take note of and read their Mass Card and learn the prayers and the items for Mass listed in the Altar Servers’ Dictionary. The card can be downloaded in PDF format here. The dictionary can be downloaded here.
